DC Denti Circonium

EXPERIENCE, TRADITION and MODERNITY

The philosophy of Denti® Circon implants

After 27 years of clinical success and innovation, a new member of the Denti® Implant family has been developed. The development of the new Denti® Circon implants relied on combining 27 years of experience into a new type of implant:
We have long research experience in the area of dental bioceramic implants: the first Denti® Diakor aluminum oxide bioceramic implant was introduced for clinical use in 1983.
The DC implants have a root-form geometry (an anatomical shape resembling the root canal), and they are similar to the Denti® Root Form OP implants. They have a one-stage design, that is, the body piece and the head piece of the implants are formed from a single piece.

Optimal surface for optimal osseointegration: passivated (sandblasted and acid etched like all other Denti® implants in the last 27 years, with an over 97% success rate).
Quality proven by the 27-year existence of the Denti® Implant family.

MATERIAL: ZIRKONIUM

Denti® Zirconium implant is made of high-purity (95%) zirconium dioxide stabilized with 5% yttrium oxide. The DC implants are produced using powder metallurgy methods (isostatic pressing followed by sintering at high temperature at the end of the manufacturing process).
To guarantee the excellent quality of the implants, the manufacturing process (from the base material to the completed implant) is continuously monitored according to the applicable international standards.
Material composition according to EN ISO 13356.

ADVANTAGES OF USING DENTI® CIRCON IMPLANTS

  • aesthetics – ivory tinted surface
  • perfect periodontal health
  • completely metal-free rehabilitation
  • increased mechanical properties (shows excellent resistance to mechanical influences)
  • extremely biocompatible and bioinert
  • can be inserted for patients with allergies
  • suitable for patients with chronic illness
  • for those dental patients who do not want a metal implant

ONE DESIGN - TWO MATERIALS

Dental implants made of bioceramics and titanium.
The Denti® implant family has two different implant types with one design but two different materials.
The one-piece Denti® implants are made of ceramic high-tech zirconium oxide or proved, traditional titanium. The advantage of the system is that the practitioner is able to choose between two reliable implant materials: ZrO2 bioceramics or titanium. Both types have proved to be reliable in their practical application. Thus both types guarantee a good solution for the dental clinician.
With the exception of the implant body drivers, all surgical instruments are applicable for both systems.

THE DENTI® CIRKON IMPLANTS

The one-piece Denti zirconium implants are available with two different head piece designs. The straight, conical head piece flattened on the three sides, and the spherical head piece with the same size as the OT-CAP ball-headed attachment of 2 mm in diameter. For a secure epithelial adhesion, the neck piece of the implants is polished.

Loading

  • may be loaded right after insertion
  • may be loaded after a conventional healing period (immediate or late implantation)

Surgery

  • can be implanted in a transgingival process
  • can be implanted with exposure (raising the mucoperiostal flap)

Implant placement is possible

  • flapless implant placement
  • immedeately after extraction
  • implant placement with flap reflection

Surface

The surface design of the Denti® Circonium implants is the same as that of the other Denti® implants, which have already proved to be successful with a success rate of above 97% even after 10 years.
The surface of all Denti® implants is produced through a combination of physical and mechanical surface treatments (sandblasting and chemical treatment).
This micro-roughened, passivated surface design with its high surface energies is the guarantee for the rapid and safe formation and permanent adherence of the bone tissue to the surface of Denti® implants.

Size options

Denti® Circon implants are available in 3 diameters and 3 lengths with two head types.

DIAMETERS 3,8mm 4,3mm 4,8mm
  9mm 9mm 9mm
LENGTHS 11mm 11mm 11mm
  13mm 13mm 13mm

Threads and shape

Self tapping Denti® Circon implants can be inserted with a torque of up to 50 N/cm.
The bone condensing thread cutters and new thread design make a proper compression in the implant bed, making high primer stability.

Design

Root form design mimics natural tooth geometry.
The implant is available with two head types:

  • with standard conical head part
  • with ball head part (OT-CAP comapatible) for the reconstruction of totally edontulous maxilla

Packaging

The implants are packaged gamma-ray sterilised. Prosthetic components and instrumentation require autoclave sterilisation before use.

ADVANTAGES OF ONE-STAGE SURGERY

One-stage surgery offers a wide range of advantages both for the patients and the practitioner.

Advantages for the practitioner

  • chairtime is short
  • insertion is simple, quick and safe
  • immediete function (one surgery) aesthetic restoration can be achieved right after the surgical procedure
  • immediate loadability in case of D1 or D2 bone quality (one surgery), esthetic replacement option even immediately after the surgical procedure
  • proven maximum initial stability in bone immediately after insertion
  • minimized bone loss
  • no second surgery, saving time and improving soft tissue apposition

Advantages for the patient

  • cost-effective
  • no second surgery – saves time
  • implant insertion is quick, therefore operation takes less time
  • insertion method reduces healing and waiting time for the preparation of the denture

instruments

The Denti® Circon & One-Piece Surgical Kit is designed for a quick and rational insertion.
Both types of Denti® Circon implants (conical and ball head) have the same insertion tools. The external hex can be turned with a contra-angle handpiece driver or with a manual driver with a ratchet. With hard bone quality it is recommended to use the provided taps. All cutting instruments are made of steel.

Parallelism

The Denti® Circon & One-Piece Surgical Tray contains an alignment kit. The use of the alignment kit ensures  achievement of equal distances (7 mm, 9 mm, 12 mm) identical axial degree of the implants.

laboratory accessories

The height and shape of the abutment have to be choosen in such a way that NO preparation will be necessary after implant insertion (in case a correction is needed, special burs are recommended to prepare the abutment part of Denti® Circon implant).

  • direct impression taking is suggested with ball head Denti® Circon implants
  • direct impression coping is possible in the case of head parts after preparation
  • closed tray impression taking is possible with the help of the impression taking caps if no preparation is carried out

Impression caps and posts

  • easy to use
  • allow precise impression taking
  • color coded and laser marked
