DCR Denti Circon Implant Systems

MATERIAL: ZIRCONIUM

All Denti® Circon implants are made of ZrO2. Purity is more than 99%. Zirconium belongs to the group of oxide ceramics. Yttric oxide (Y2O3) is used as the stabilising oxide.

In order to guarantee a lasting quality of the initial material and the finished implant, a series of controls and examinations are carried out following established standards.

The careful production process of the material, the manual and mechanical preparation lead to an ideal dental implant.

Material composition according to EN ISO 13356.

The excellent mechanical properties are the result of the manufacturing process using powder metallurgy methods (isostatic pressing followed by sintering at high temperature).

SURFACE

Denti® Circon implants have the same proven surface as the other Denti® implants with an excellent long-term success rate of 98.7%.

The surface of all Denti® implants is produced through a combination of physical and mechanical surface treatments (sandblasting and chemical treatment).

This micro-roughened, passivated surface design with its high surface energies is the guarantee for the rapid and safe formation and permanent adherence of the bone tissue to the surface of Denti® implants.

ADVANTAGES OF USING DENTI® CIRCON IMPLANTS

  • aesthetics – ivory tinted surface
  • perfect periodontal health
  • completely metal-free rehabilitation
  • increased mechanical properties (shows excellent resistance to mechanical influences)
  • extremely biocompatible and bioinert
  • can be inserted for patients with allergies
  • suitable for patients with chronic illness
  • high fatigue strengt
  • metal-free bioceramic – it can be placed even in case of hypersensitivity to metals
  • for those dental patients who are averse from the placement of metal implants

THE DCR SYSTEM

The Denti® Circon Root implant is a subgingival implant that coresponds to the proven design of the already available titanium Denti® Root implant. NATURAL BEAUTY

UNIQUE THREAD DESIGN

The Denti® Circon Root form implants have dual threads.

The micro threads on the neck

  • increase the functional load bearing capacity.
  • The optimal load distribution reduces stress  thus preserving marginal bone.
  • help osseointegration process
  • prevent damage of the cortical bone thus preventing cortical bone absorption
  • enchance initial stability
  • improve bone stimulation
  • provide addtional cortical anchoring for sinus lift procedures
  • the connection between the shoulder of the implant and the head piece is microgap- and micromovement-free and, in addition, a platform switch helps support the peri-implant tissues (papilla).
  • the requirements of the “Tissue Care Concept” are completely met with the placement of the DCR implant, allowing a long-term inflammation-free state of the peri-implant tissues and the bone tissue, and a lasting success of the prosthesis.

Deep threads on the body part

  • optimise primary stability during placement

The self-tapping threads lead to an internal condensation of the peri-implant bone. This creates high primary stability of the Denti® implant even in spongy bone.

Shape NEW DESIGN – NEW GENERATION

The tapered implant design

  • reproduces better the profile of the natural tooth
  • eases initial insertion
  • is a contributing factor for the increase in primary stability at the time of the implant placement

OTHER ADVANTAGES OF the DCR SYSTEM

  • same instruments with Denti® Root implants (except taps)
  • same procedures
  • the head pieces are fixed in the implant without microgaps and micromovements.

STABLE CONNECTION

The Circon implant and the Circon abutment are bonded together. Thus the connection is very stable between the implant and the prosthetic part. Because of the cementation there is no danger of micromovements.

The long parallel-running walls on the abutments are designed for distribution of lateral loads.

The two phase Denti® Circon Root implants abutments provide clinicians with two options

  • standard (conical)
  • cylindric (can be adjusted if needed)

Size options

THE OPTIMAL CHOICE FOR ALL BONE TYPES

The Denti® Circon Root form implants are available in 4 diameters and 4 lengths

DIAMETER 3,8mm 4,3mm 4,8mm 5,3mm
Length 9,5mm 9,5mm 9,5mm 9,5mm
11,5mm 11,5mm 11,5mm 11,5mm
13,5mm 13,5mm 13,5mm 13,5mm
15,5mm 15,5mm 15,5mm 15,5mm

INSTRUMENTS

The Denti® Surgical and prosthetic kit includes all instruments that are required for both the surgical and prosthetic procedures. The Denti® Circon Root form Implant Kit makes implant insertion quick and efficient.
The instruments are designed to ensure atraumatic preparation. High primary stability is guarenteed for every quality bone.

  • available in a comlete kit or as individual items
  • for external irrigation
  • double possibility: using with contra-angle or manually

The Denti® Circon Root form self threading implants may require the use of tap drills (different for each diameter) only in case of hard bone. Similarly, it is recommended to check and correct the nest of the implant after it has been formed, that is, immediately before the placement of the DCR implant, by screwing in a so-called test implant. This way we can avoid causing damage to or breaking the DCR implant by applying a torque that is too high (< 50 Ncm) when screwing in the implant.
