DN Denti Needle Implant System
Another „old–new” Denti® system
The Secret of the needle implants
The 1st generation of Denti® Diakor needle implants were inserted in 1983. These implants were made of aluminium-oxide bioceramics. In the beginning of the 1987 more one phase Denti® implant types were on the market. These 2nd generation implants (blade, double needle and needle) were manufactured of pure surgical titanium. These implants were bendable at the neck.
These days the 3rd genaration Denti® Needle implant is made of titanium alloy (Grade 4) so there is no tendency to fracture at all. Though the success rate of the „old” Denti® needle implants was almost 97%, using titanium alloy strengthens the Denti® Needle implant dramatically.

SUGGESTED BECAUSE
The surgery process is less traumatic and faster. There is minimal bone preparation when placing Denti® Needle impants thus there are fewer postoperative complications. The surgery sequence (method) is simple, fast and easy to learn. The restorative procedures are also much simpler. The Denti® Needle implants are great help for both stabilizing dentures and replacing missing teeth. The Denti® Needle implant can be loaded immediately after placement. The usage of these narrow diameter Denti® Needle implants also help people who could not otherwise afford conventional implants.
USAGE
These reduced diameter implants can be used:
- for denture retention both maxillary and mandibular
- for gaining additional retention with removable partials
- for single and multiple units for crown and bridge
- for restoring limited spaces with implant restoration
- for transitional stabilization during the integration period of conventional implants
- for denture stabilisation
immediately functional!
THREADS
The Denti® Needle implant has bone condensing thread cutters and thread design. These factors make a proper compression in the implant bed, ensuring high primer stability.
SURFACE - long-term proven Denti® surface
Denti® Needle implant has the same proven surface as the other Denti® implants with an excellent long-term success of 98,7%.
The Denti® implants surface is the combination of a physical and mechanical surface treatments (sandblasting and chemical treatment).
This micro-roughened, passivated surface design with its high surface energies guarantees rapid and safe formation and permanent adherence of the bone tissue on the surface of the Denti® implants.
Types & Sizes
The Denti® Needle implants are available in 2 diameters and 3 lengths with two head types.
The 2,3 mm needle implant is ideal for patients with D1 and D2 bone.
The 2,8 mm needle implant is designed for patients with D2 and D3 bone.

Prosthetic components
Accurate impression taking for the Denti® Needle implants position and their exact transmission into the impressions can be accomplished by using the impression-taking caps.
Direct impression coping is possible in the case of head parts after preparation. The implant head has a conical shape allowing for a small degree of axial correction (7º).
Closed tray impression taking is possible with the help of the impression taking caps if no preparation is carried out.
Impression caps and posts:
easy to use
allow precise impression taking
one type of impression cap for both implant types in order to make impression taking more easy
PACKAGING
The implants are packaged gamma-ray sterilised. Prosthetic components and instrumentation require autoclave sterilisation before use.

user-friendly surgical kit!
The spherical drill: for showing the place of the implant
The pilot drill: for pilot drilling as well as preparing the implant bed. The 1,8 mm pilot drill is designed for the 2,3 mm implants, the 2,2 mm pilot drill is for the 2,8 mm implants.
Suggested torque: 800-1200 rpm
The insertion tool: for inserting the implant manually. The suggested torque is 20 rpm
The insertion tool with power drive for inserting the implant with power drive. The calibrated torque ratchet provides the user with objective measurement in determining the level of initial stability. The suggested torque rate is 50 Ncm.
All instruments are in the Surgical tray.
All instruments produced by
Hager&Meisinger GmbH, Germany.
Parallelism
It is important to find the correct placement position and angle when implanting Denti® needle implants.
The alignment kit constitutes a part of the Denti® Needle instrument kit, the use of which may ensure achievement of the equal distances (7 mm, 9mm) and identical (parallel) axial (degree), (alignment) respectively, of the implants to be implanted.
